the fedora wiki is useless, only the install guide is useable

1. Here is a good tutorial. Get everything working on your linux machine that you normally use with windows. Your questions was vague so I cannot give more specific suggestions.

3. There are dozens of book in any bookstore or public library. You may want to check out a local Linux Users Group (LUG), a Google search, the Linux for newbies website, etc.
   Linux has enough helpful people out there that you will have no problems getting aid.
