Doubts about installing ubuntu(a linux supported operating system)?

I have installed ubuntu in my system.but I can't access it. I think the problem is that when I installed ubuntu I gave d-drive as the directory instead of creating free space in the hard drive. now I lost about 10GB from the total size of the d-drive(logical drive).can anyone help me to restore the original size of my d-drive?
- Buy a time machine from eBay and go back to the time before you installed ubuntu.
- install again
