I'm probably going to customize a computer for myself and am thinking about using 2 operating systems. Vista and a Linux
- Dont ever EVER pay for a Linux OS. Here are my favorites.

- Something worth looking at is Ubuntu - Linux for human beings. Looked at it and its good fun.

- Go for redhat linux 2.3 , it is cheap and reliable
- SUSE Linux is the award winning Linux OS .It was very easy to install.GUI is better than Windows XP,with good security.
