Which is the best free Linux Operating System?
- I've used SUSE, Mandrake (now called Mandriva), and Ubuntu. Between those, Ubuntu is the best in my opinion. Its packaging system is the best and it automatically updates itself.
- I assume you mean Linux Distribution. All the distributions use Linux as the operating system.. Read the article

pcLinuxOS is possibly the best for someone moving from windows? but its down to your own thinking I like ubuntu and redhat but that me - Try this - ubuntu.
There's a different version depending on what you want to use your system for. You have a download or free CD option also.
