I need help with the compatibility of making a webpage on a linux system. Can I use html and xhtml code to make a webpage on a linux system? If so what kind of editor would I have to use?
- Thanx for the help and tips.
- HTML and xHTML absolutely can be run on a Linux-based system. If your web server is Linux, you will need web server software. Apache is opensource is largely the most popular web server software. If you just want to view web pages on a Linux system, just download a web browser such as Firefox or Opera.
I'm not familiar with editors that run Linux but I'm sure you can find some via Google. At the least, all you need is a text editor to write HTML and xHTML.
Best of luck.
