- as website is for all. my members all to need confirmation mail from my site to their yahoo or other mail ids to continue as members in my site.. I need to know "SMTP MAIL Settings "
- Hi
mostly SMTP should be present locally. With my hosting provider netandhost.com, I just use localhost. You can also try if SMTP is open by putting the following command in command prompt
telnet <ip> 25
- thanks in advance.
- expecting help from yu any one..
- SMTP is a host's issue. The level to which it is enabled varies dramatically.
For example, GoDaddy allows full mail functionality through PHP, while some host only let your receive mail through their webmail client.
I strongly suggest you check with your hosting company.
If you have already and they won't allow, you will have to buy a better package.
