Qmail installation on linux OS?
M new to Linux recently I got a project of installing a mail server on a linux system that will be used as server for sending mails..can u help me in the following.
- 1.which linux server OS pack should I use
- sohailsmumbai@hotmail.com
- fedora is quit good for mail server you should use that
- 3.can I TS to my mail server remotely?
- Two options I suggest.
Ease of install and setup use SME server from Contribs.org. It's 'free' and comes preconfigured as a mail server, samba server and domain server. It has an easy to use web based administration menu and has everything installed. For beginners, another easy to learn way to get linux working quickly and properly is with Debian. The network install has a very simple menu system that lets you easily set up what you need with minimal configuration. Plus the net install download is only 140Mb.
- My answers are mentioned below!!
