If I have a domain name registered, www.helpme.com and I wanted to host my own website on my own home server, what steps do I have to follow after my successful domain name registration?

1. And tell me how do I connect this domain name to my server?
2. 1. Install apache server.
   2. Configure it.
   3. Write "index.html" or "index.php", etc. as your main page and place it into apache web root directory.
