How do I access internet through a wireless router via a proxy server?

I have a wireless conection to a novell network at my work. The network has a proxy server in place. If I plug my computor directly into a lan cable, I can access the internet (with the proper browser settings in place). When I try to access the internet when I am plugged into the router or wirlessly throuth the router I get an error message.

  1. So common. With that theres so many things it could be.
    It could be a-
    network issue
    computer setting problem
    ISP blocks routers
a virus that kills certain internet access attempts.
Have your boss/tech guy take a look at it. I'd explain how to fix each in detlail but I just went thru about 2 weeks of setting up a few networks (and fixing them after every stupid kid on each connection went to bad sites, and killed the connection). I'll come back later, and explain how to fix each.
  2. I got three words for your answer: "Just bring it!"
