I have developed several applications using Clipper 87 with FoxBase as database running on Novell Netware 3.12

Is there any software to convert the Clipper Programs to any Windows or Linux based application format?

  1. Database market has changed a lot…

Microsoft has all but killed FoxPro, but it refused to die, and you can still technically buy it, and it IS a Microsoft Windows app, and it SHOULD run most classic code, so converting Clipper can't be that hard.

if you didn't use too many Clipper-only extensions, dBase is always an option. Borland sold dBase to someone else way back when, so it's got its own Windows version now, no idea how compatible it is with Clipper.

Then there are lesser-known options such as Hallogram's Clip-4-Win (claims to be Clipper compatible, but OOP and Windows) (http://www.hallogram.com/clip4win/index…. I'm sure you'll find more.

Your best bet is probably xHarbour (http://xharbour.com/) which claims to be 100% backward compatible w/ Clipper source code.
