I just downloaded opera to get around my schools novell bordermanager for IE 6,but the sites are still blocked

Any clue what's going on and how to fix it?

  1. I wish dude, but they have blocked every proxy known to man. I have tried at least 200 proxies (no exaggeration), and all were blocked.
  2. Proxies really are your only and best bet. You just need to find the new, stealthy proxies. New ones pop up everyday, and you need to find these before your filter does!

    http://offcampuslunch.com/
    http://searchandstudy.com/
    http://abc.searchandstudy.com/

Are all reasonably new and feature school-friendly URLs and designs to help fight filters. So, hopefully, they can help you.

  3. They Will Be.

You see, most schools, colleges and universities today have their whole INTERNET filtered by the council or area provider. For example, If you lived in lancashire; the server (huge computer which dishes out the Internet to computers in schools and libraries in lancashire), has got software on it that blocks sites completely.

The only way to get round it is to go to http://homeworkhelpers.info , http://proxy.in , http://smartproxy.org (good one!) etc. Just type 'Unblock Proxy' into google and it will all come up!

Hope this helps mate, as it has helped me.

  4. Use http://www.whatmyipaddress.net
To unblock Facebook and Myspace from school or work.
