My playonline wont update, im a college student and I think it has something to do with novell on my computer?

I had XP pro installed on my computer, and novell client because of the college, I think it might have something to do with that. Do I have to configure the poxy settings ? or something or is the schools firewall blocking it ? I dont know

The ports used by the game have to be set open by the network administrator. Find out which ports, and ask him to set them open.
