Running Novell on XP pro. client hard machine reformatted. went in installed Novell 4.9. After reboot comes up with windows login window and then Novell.

1. Right click on "My network Places" and select "Properties" from the drop down menu. When the properties window opens up select "Advanced" from the menu bar and then "Advanced Settings" from the menu. When the advanced settings window opens up select the "Provider Order" tab. Make sure that Novell is at the top of the list. If it isn't, highlight it and use click the up arrow on the right side of the box to move it up.
