Can u tell me about any Linux program that can run (.exe) files?

I've recently installed a Linux OS called linspire, it's very amazing but the problem I face is the lack of the most programs we used to deal with………so, I'm looking for a program that can run the executable programs (.exe).

  1. I thank you very much for your help.
  2. some windows programs can be run by using a program called Wine, but if you're taking the plunge into Linux, I would suggest you learn how to use the linux equivelent of the windows programs. Linux has many many programs that rival those produced for windows.
  3. Crossover can.
And you are absolutely right, Linspire is about the best desktop Linux that there is.
There are a lot of Linspire flamers as you will soon learn but for the casual user that just wants to use their computer and not mess with apt-get or dpkg at the console you can't beat Linspire for ease of use.
Just sign up for CNR warehouse and look at all of the great programs and games and they are either free or dirt cheap.
Although a lot of Linux apps tend to look less polished than Windows apps they are often much more functional.
Be sure to tell others that there are real alternatives to Windows like Linspire.
~BTW~ congraulations! You are on the road to recovery from your Windows addiction.
Welcome to the ever growing population of Linux users.
