I have to make a linux bootable cd or usb for class and I need to add two programs before I burn it

1. You'll want to look into the utility mkisofs for making a .iso file you can burn.

2. I dont see how this is possible. just try to find a version of linux that comes with the programs already. ubuntu and mepis have many things pre installed
