How I can learn linux c programming easy?

non

  1. I have two answers for this question:

    1) Try any of Que's "Learn xxx in 24 hours" books. They are highly task-oriented, and spell out exactly how to do things quite clearly. There is a lot of information packed into these books. They also make a great reference after you have read them.

    2) C is *not* easy. You may be able to learn 80% of the syntax in a couple of weeks, but it takes literally YEARS to learn all of the finer points of pointers, modifiers such as "volitile", debugging, optimization, and GOOD programming practices. Simply nothing can replace experience and practice.

Not trying to scare you off, but those are simply the facts.

  2. Buy the book 'Programming in C' written by Dennis M. Richie who invented 'C' language. It is easier to learn.
  3. One more point to add. C language syntax remains the same for all platforms, except for some additional library files and templates. You if you learn basic C programming on Linux, you can do it on almost any platform with a good C compiler.
  4. some books like the In Easy Steps have C++ programming in basic. That also can program and you have more control. Just a sentence : read the book.
  5. 22 years of C programming.
