Is it Possible to execute a Unix Socket Program in Linux?

I am looking for unix lab programs, I got one from old record and I done that program in Linux Red Hat 9.0. Actually it is a socket program. just a client server program. If anybody know this program for linux please help me.. My Mail ID is trramu007@yahoo.com

Well basically if it worked in RH9 it should work in most releases. You will have to be a little more specific. Sockets are sockets and unix/linux have very little differences.
