About Playing video on Linux Redhat ?

I have just installed RedHat Linux 9.0 It was a custome installation. I didn't install "X-Windows" or something like that. My problem is I cant play .mp3 .mpeg .mpg .dat .vob .avi files. When I double click it, it says "Nautilus has not installed a viewer for this file". Again When I double clicked the .mp3 files A dialog box appeared and says that RedHat can't play mpeg 1/2/3 layer files, or it doesnt' have had the licence issued.

Tell me how can I play those files.
