After entering first time in Linux(redhat) how will u connect internet? What should be done?

I have BSNL Broadband with external modem. WOrking good with XP.

  1. You are flailing. Ubuntu has a debian base, and you will find it better, quicker, and more user friendly. Red hat is not for a beginner. www.ubuntu.com will give you an .iso to burn for free and load. Support is teriffic with a forum, and it comes with a couple hundred generic programs. If you must use red hat, better pack a lunch. Good luck!
