1. RedHat Linux is not a supported platform for Siebel. Here are the supported platforms (at least for Siebel 7.8)

   IBM AIX 5L v5.2 (maintenance level 3 or above)
   Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (SP3)
   Microsoft Windows 2003 Server (SP1 and up)
   Sun Solaris 9 (update 3 kernel level generic 112233-08 and up)
   HP-UX 11.11 (11i)

   You cannot download and install Siebel. Its a very expensive piece of software, and its licensing is pretty strict (per seat in most cases). You'll need a supported web server, which must be one of the following:

   Microsoft IIS 5.0
   Microsoft IIS 6.0
   Sun Java System Web Server 6.1
   IBM HTTP Server v.2.0.47
   HP Web Server Suite 2.0.3

   Not to mention the RDMS you will need, which must be from the supported list.
