How can I configure Redhat linux as proxy server?

I want to configure the red hat linux as proxy server, how can I?

  1. Plz let me know!!!
  2. You need 2 network cards, 1 for internal the other for the external (Internet) network. You need to install, configure and start the squid proxy server. You then need to configure all your internal machines to use proxy. Before you do this be aware that with many machines internally accessing the Internet through it squid will wipe out ram very rapidly if you let it. Unless you have massive resources a better way with larger networks is to use it as a router, with all the firewalling on from the outside and ipv4 forwarding set to 1. For a small networks it is a good option.
