I'm unable to manually partition in Red Hat LINUX AS4. I'm getting partitioning error. I want to install ORACLE on it.
- I've created partitions in this way:
- /disk2,
- /opt,
- /oraeng,
- /var,
- /usr,
- /(root),
- /disk1,
- /tmp,
- I'm able to do all the partitions except disk2 and disk3. even though the space is there , I'm getting partitionning error, saying that " could not allocate partitions."
- /boot,
- /disk3.
- Plz check you left the non dos partition or not because linux select only the non dos partition after it you should check the swap and native partition if you give more then one gb it not installed
- Can somebody throw light on this.
- /swap,
