Linux redhat update?
I have Linux AS 3.x I want to upgrade it to a certain ver but not the latest ,how can I do it? and do I have to pay for this update to linux?
- Nope they're free. I know Linux is free. You don't have to pay for it. But I think some of it isn't free. I don't know they set it. But I suggest you to Google the Linux tutorial and read it carefully. Then it will help you :). Well I'm getting Ubuntu soon. Hopefully.
- You do not have to pay for any updates with Linux.
You should really try Kubuntu as it is by far the most popular version of Linux and it does all of the updates automatically and restarts your GUI by default.
If you want a Linux version that has automatic everything and requires absolutely no technical expertise what so ever try Linspire.
You can buy it at Wal-Mart or on line from the Linspire.
I have put my whole family on to the Linspire and everyone loves it.
Buy one copy of Linspire and your whole family can use it. - If you want to stick with a Red Hat-affiliated product, you should look into the Fedora Core. I installed the latest version and it looks very nice.
