Redhat Linux 9.0?

Is redhat linux 9 in use or not I mean is it the new version to use or to use another one.

- Red Hat Linux 9, the final release, hit its official end-of-life on April 30, 2004, although the Fedora Legacy project continues to publish updates.
Fedora Core (sometimes incorrectly referred to as Fedora Linux) replaces the original Red Hat Linux download and retail version. The model is similar to the relationship between Netscape Communicator and Mozilla, or StarOffice and OpenOffice.org, although in this case the resulting commercial product is also fully free software.

- RedHat 9.0 can still be used if you want a legacy stable system. After RH9 RedHat had split it's distros in to two branches, one is called RHEL (RedHat Enterprise Linux) and one is called Fedora Core. Fedora Core is for Linux enthusiasts. Fedora Core 6 is the latest in the Fedora Core series (http://fedora.redhat.com).
