Simple Linux problem?

I've been using Red Hat Linux at work for about a week. On one program I use, the dialog windows are too tall, and the bottoms are hidden behind the panel at the bottom of the screen. I can't resize the windows, and I don't have the privleges to change the moniter resolution. I need to be able to get at the last few rows of buttons. Please help!

  1. I have had the same problem once before, I found the easiest workround (it wasn't a soution) was to close the taskbar at the bottom with the arrow button on the right of the taskbar. The only other thing would be to contact your system administrator, unless there is something in the settings for the programme, I think it is most likely the programme playing up rather than a system problem.
