What skills does it take to learn Red Hat Linux….what prerequistes..?
Hi frens,
- I am about to take up a course in Redhat Linux. what r the prerequistes to learn and master it. I am an enginner passout graduate.
- Go to your local bookstore, and get the Red Hat Linux bible, you'll need it. It's a lot to absorb, but reading through the book before taking the class will make your life a lot easier!
As for prerequisites, I recommend having experience in at least three other major distributions of Linux, so you're not walking in completely blind when it comes to operating.
- Patience, lots of patience. Persistence to keep trying and searching online for answers to puzzling questions. Do a number of installs on different hardware, the download and install Firefox, Java, Perl and make that work.
Always keep notes.
- Linux, like windows, takes getting used to. Like anything else……….RTM, Use google…..trial and error.
get an old PC and install it over and over………
- You need the ability to read the manual.
- Plz tell so I am equipped with the skills and better face and digest the classes I am goin to attend….thanks
