Dear Friends . I new to linux I have installed mandrive linux but I cannot connection BSNL Dataone Broadband connection .there is linux software but it is in text mode so I can see the all c++ programme in the kwrite.I try to get the modem software by search . I con't get it . the software is not defult in mandrive linux .pls tell me which linux accept BSNL Dataone broadband modem model is UT-300R2U .I have fedora core 6 ,mandriva linux 2007 and Ubuntu .my friends have PClinuxOS live cd, can I install PClinuxos on my system

Is the Linksys WRT54G router compatible with a Linux operating system?

Basically, I am using Mandriva as a partitoned Linux distro. This router works fine in Win XP, but I dont know where to find the drivers to install it for Linux… I am kind of new to Linux, so thorough instructions to setting up the router in Linux would be greatly appreciated.

I have a computer with linux and redhat why cant I get internet through broadband?

I was given a computer which was meant to be part of free internet access thing I am not computer minded but the community group who set it all up said it would be relayed via a transmitter on top of flats anyway two years ago and still waiting. they have never got it up and running. I have broadband access but am borrowing a laptop which needs to go back to owner next month. how can I get my computer up and connected is there a way it seem s so sad to have this computer brand new just gathering dust
