hi friends I am mandrake linux 9.1 and I don't idea how to go to bsnl broadband and somebody is telling you can go to broadband by useing ethernet but how to I enable it and how I find the ethernet card on my system pls tell me

Netware/Novell was installed on my computer by the school IT department. It never properly installed and has been a nightmare since. I never got a client in my Network Connections, I tried deleting every existing thing associated with the program out of my files and folders and registry. Windows is still trying to launch a sign in with novell when I start up. Therefore it takes about 5 mins to start my computer and shut it down. It then gives me a msg saying unable to launch log-in program or something to that affect. It asks if I would still like to try to log into windows anyways and I say yes and my computer starts up fine. It also takes a LONG time to shut down. This is really inconvenient and I have been putting my comp in hibernation for about a year now instead of properly shutting down. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this start-up login request and just go straight to windows desktop? Thanks.
