What keycode and keyboard commands do I need to use on a school computer to get the start menu is enabled?

I want to be able to use Novell Message Client on my school computer but the start menu is locked and I need to use certain keyboard keys and a keycode to unlock it. Then this window shows up with certain options that I can choose to enable but it is not in anything unless I use the keyboard keys and keycode to unlock it.
