Dose suse linux 10.1 have a texted based web browser all ready installed by default ?

I wanted to try using a texted based internet browser and I found one I was going to install but I'm still new to linux and I don't know how to install it so is there all ready one installed or something like that

  1. All distros have a choice of text based browsers, they may not install by default. Use Yast and go to software/install remove. Look at package groups/network/web, lynx is one that will be there, if ticked it is installed, if not tick it to install, then insert the disc required.
  2. If not installed, all you have to do is run a package manager, (like adept manager). than you pick a suitable browser, and request the install. Afterwords you can run it from terminal. But the simplest way to try it, is to set the opera browser on classic style :)
There you can see how a textbased browser looks like
