I want to see all the ports that are being used on my SUSE Linux machine?

give me the detailed steps to see the all the ports that are in use in my SUSE Linux machine.

netstat -a

grep for tcp and udp if you only want TCP/IP info.
the p flag could be interesting on SuSE if my memory serves.
