Is it possible to install suse Linux 10.1 while I have windows and keep both operating systems on my PC? or the Linux will delete windows?

3. You just need a separate hard drive or partition. Then when you boot up, you can have a choice of which OS to use. I think you need a boot loader, but I;m not sure.
4. Suse has a self install option that sets up two partitions on your hardrive. When your pc starts, a black screen will pop up telling you to press tab to load windows or just wait a few seconds and linux will load up. During the install it will ask you if you want this option or not.

6. Linux will have to be installed on a separate partition due to a different file structure than MS, but the install procedure will (should) prompt you to set up a 'dual boot' system. Once installed, you will be given a choice of operating systems to boot into at startup. I would recommend a separate hard drive to install the Linux OS on. They are cheap and easy to install and will help protect each system.
   Have you considered a 'live CD' version of Linux? It doesn't have to be installed but runs from your CD player.
7. SuSE will give you the option to resize your Windows partition so that you can create one for Linux. Once you've done that, you can have both operating systems on your computer.
