Swapping Suse Linux OS for another Linux OS?

Can anyone tell me if I can swap out Suse Linux 10.2 for another Linux OS? I'm not too happy with the version I have & I want to replace it. I upgraded from Suse Linux 10.1 to 10.2 but it just used up more of my memory which is running critically low. I don't know how to use the other partition either which has 28 GB's of memory. PLEASE ANYONE, HELP!

  1. What do you need your Linux installation for ?

If you need a good desktop system then use Ubuntu Desktop 7.04
Otherwise try the server version of Ubuntu

  2. if you dont mind , why not just reformat your computer? install a new version of linux, and then you wont really have to worry about it. besides its a good idea to reformat everyso often anyways…….IM me if u have a question etc…. (deathcabdriver_5005 not napalm fanatic, but you can email this address if you like)
