I need a step-by-step guide to setting up the VMware Server program on my SuSE 10.1 and I know it comes with Xen but my computer is a P4 which is incompatible for full virtualization (trying to run Windows XP as a virtual guest) so I need real help. Also could useful responses leave a e-mail contact for possible feedback or follow-up. Thanks

1. I've never installed a VMware product on Suse specifically, but the instructions I found on the Novell site [1] seem to be pretty good. That doc is for Workstation, but Server should be similar, if not the same.

   Another random page [2] I found had similar instructions towards the bottom of the pge at step 6.0.

   For more detailed info or for issues after you do finally install, looking for and asking questions on the VMware forums [3] is pretty good, and there is also alot of information in the VMware Knowledge Base. [4]
