Trying to install Windows virtualling on my SUSe Linux system?
So I'm guessing that VMWare Player is the best free software available to accomplish this but I can't seem to install VMWare properly on my SUSe, pls help…plus should I be dowloading the .rpm or the .tar file from the VMWare website?
- SuSE comes with a LINUX (free) virtual machine software, XEN;
you can select to install it from tee source CD (/DVD);
it's certainly possible to get VMWare to work as well, but XEN comes build in, ready to go. - SuSE user
- You need to check the VMWare documentation to see what versions of Linux are supported for their products, including the VMWare player. Not all flavors of linux are supported.
