What is a good CD/DVD burning software(package) for Linux?

I'm running Suse Linux 10.1, It came with some software(package) that I don't like.

  1. Nero has been released for Linux, for free I think.

Otherwise, I would try a couple of Google Searches or there is a Wikipedia article about CD/DVD burning programs for different operating systems. The link below lists both the free and commercial programs.

  2. I'm a part time computer consultant and tech savvy college student.
  3. K3b, which probably what you are using, is probbly the most user friendly. If you're a noob then the others are going to be about as pleasant as a visit to the dentist's office with a mouthful of cavities. Maybe there are some I'm not aware of though. Don't expect anything in the same league as Nero or Roxio.
