- I've never tried to dual boot with vista but if it is anything like XP you shouldn't have a problem. First don't install windows after Linux because the Windows bootloader won't see your Linux partition so you won't be able to use it. If you decide to delete your Linux partition what you must do before you reboot after deleting your linux partition is go to the run dialog in windows and run the command fixmbr.
This will remove the Linux boot loader and the next time you boot you will get windows, make sure you delete the linux partition within the session (before reboot) otherwise you'll have trouble finding the Linux partition to be able to reformat. It is possible to install a Windows bootloader such as bootmagic but grub is easier to use.
- Try installing SuSE first, then install Vista. Vista's bootloader should detect SuSE and let you dual-boot.
