Below is a list of keyboard commands and control gestures used in the IDEAL AndroidVox web browser .

HTML Objects Navigation Keyboard Commands

  • 1 – next level 1 heading
  • 2 – next level 2 heading
  • 3 – next level 3 heading
  • 4 – next level 4 heading
  • 5 – next level 5 heading
  • B – next button
  • C is the next combo box
  • E – next edit field
  • F – next form field
  • G – next graphic element
  • H – next heading of any level
  • I is the next item in the list
  • L – next link
  • Q – next block quote
  • R – next radio button
  • S – next stick
  • T – next table
  • X – next checkbox
  • Enter – activate the object

When you press any of the keys (except Enter) together with Shift, the transition will not be to the next, but to the previous element of the specified type.

Cursor keys

When the reading mode is on, the cursor keys perform the following functions:

  • Down – read next snippet
  • Up – read the previous snippet
  • Left – decrease the detail of the selected structural level
  • Right – increase the detail of the selected structural level

When the reading mode is disabled, the cursor keys perform the following functions:

  • Down – move focus down one element
  • Up – move focus up one element
  • Left – Move focus one item to the left
  • Right – Move focus one item to the right

Structural Level Keyboard Commands

  • 9 – set structural level Group
  • 8 – set structural level Proposal
  • 7 – set the structural level Word
  • 6 – set structural level Symbol

Navigation keyboard commands

  • J – read next snippet
  • K – read previous snippet
  • M – continuous reading of the page from the cursor

Control gestures

  • Tap anywhere on the screen to interrupt speech
  • Swipe horizontally from left to right – read next snippet
  • Swipe horizontally from right to left – read previous snippet
  • Swipe vertically from top to bottom – increase the detail of the selected structural level
  • Swipe vertically from bottom to top – decrease the detail of the selected structural level
  • Swipe diagonally from the bottom left to the top right corner – turn off / on the reading mode
  • Draw diagonally from the bottom right to the top left corner – activate adding a bookmark
  • Swipe diagonally from top left to bottom right – perform the action attached to the element
  • Swipe diagonally from top right to bottom left – read from cursor
